Gary Douglas Maroney

  Services for Mr. Gary Douglas Maroney, 31, of Monroe, were held
at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 2, at the Grace Episcopal Church in
Monroe. The Rev. Robert Hargrove officiated. Burial was at
Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport, La.

  Mr. Maroney died Monday, September 30, 1985, at St. Francis
Hospital in Monroe, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by
wife, Kathey Edmonds Maroney of Monroe; one step son, Tony Pedigo
of Monroe; his father, James F. Maroney of Shreveport; his
mother, Kathleen Maroney of Shreveport; two brothers, Jimmy Don
Maroney of Pleasant Hill, La., Charles Maroney of San Antonio,
Texas; one sister, Carolyn Grice of Bossier City, La.

  Pallbearers were Dix Johnston, Howard McDaniel, David Smith,
Jimmy Harper, Steve Seay, and Trey Capps.

  Memorials may be made to Grace Episcopal Church in Monroe, or
the American Cancer Society.
