Mrs. Brown was the widow of the late J. B. Brown and mother of our townsman, Dr. J. B. Brown, Jr., Mrs. Brown was up in the 80's and had lived here all her life and numbered her friends by the thousands. She was known to all the younger people of the town as Mother Brown. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery at 3 p.m. Saturday and her bereaved friends and relatives have our heartfelt sympathy.
