Napier James Edmond Napier, 83, of Mansfield, died Friday, April 13, in a Converse hospital. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 15, in the Midway Baptist Church near Converse, with the Rev. W. A. Campbell officiating. Burial was in the Sardis Cemetery, under the direction of the Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. Survivors include two sons, Jack Napier of Zwolle, and J. W. Napier Jr. of Laurel, Miss.; six daughters, Mrs. N. O. Wright of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Charles Kile of Shreveport, Mrs. Billy Rae Skinner of Florien, Mrs. C. D. Leatherwood of Converse, Mrs. Laverne Drake, and Mrs. Randy Martin, both of Many; 20 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; four brothers, John D. Napier, and John West, both of Zwolle, Jack West of Woodville, Tex., and Hubert West of Bronson, Tex.; and a sister, Mrs. Mae Wall of Shreveport.
