J. D. Napier

  J. D. Napier, 86, of Zwolle, died in Many on Tuesday, Feb. 14,
at 2:30 p.m., following an extended illness.

  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sarah Napier of Zwolle; three
sons, Johnny Paul Napier, and David Napier, both of Pineland,
Tex., and Joe Napier of San Augustine, Tex.; five daughters,
Bernice Napier of Zwolle, Betty Jo Castillo of San Augustine,
Tex., Martha Parker of Zwolle, Esther Ayers of Houston, and
Bonnie Davis of Pineland, Tex., and 13 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Aimwell Baptist Church on
Thursday, Feb. 16, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Walker Ledford officiated.
Burial was in the Aimwell Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
