Nabours 8 Feb 1946 - Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence M. Nabours of Poland, who died Jan. 28 in Baptist hospital, Alexandria, were conducted Jan. 29 in the chapel funeral home at Alexandria with Dr. Wood of Louisiana college, a former pastor, officiating. Mrs. Nabours was a native of Lowndes county, Miss. The many beautiful floral offerings arrested to the high esteem in which she was held by the people of Rapides parish. Mrs. Nabours is survived by: her husband who was reared in Many; one daughter, Betty of Poland; one son, Joe of the U. S. Army who came by plane from Guam to be with his mother; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Joe Nabours of Alexandria; sisters, Mrs. E. E. Bailey, Miss Sadie Robinson of Columbus, Miss., Mrs. L. E. Meadows, Mrs. W. H. Nichols of Crawford, Miss., Miss L. Moe Robinson, Mrs. J. R. Milam of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. A. G. Youngblood of Noble; a brother, J. Henry Robinson of Noble.
