The Sabine Index - August 9, 1973

  Mrs. W. C. Nabors

  Mrs. William Campbell Nabors, 81, died Thursday, Aug. 2 after a
lengthy illness.

  Mrs. Nabors, member of a prominent DeSoto Parish family and wife
of the founder of Nabors Trailer Inc. and nabors Drilling Co. and
Nabors Oil Corp., was a lifelong resident of Mansfield.

  Mrs. Nabors was the daguther of the late Green and Jessie Durham
Rives.

  Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3 in the chapel
of Drewett Funeral Home with Dr. Scott Tatum officiating. Burial
will be in Old Mansfield Cemetery.

  Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ben Johnson III, and
a brother, Green Rives Sr., both of Mansfield.
