W. Nabours and three other youths were injured shortly before midnight Monday when the car in which that were riding overturned several times at a point east of Many on the Fort Jesup highway. Others injured in the wreck were Lloyd Parrott of Alliance, who suffered a broken leg, and Willard and Elva Nabours, son and daughter of W. P. Nabours, Alliance, who were not seriously injured. Miss Mildred Nabours died at Fraser sanitarium a few hours after the accident. Funeral services were held at Beulah Baptist church Wednesday at 10 a.m. by Rev. C. W. Williams, pastor of First Baptist church, Many, assisted by Rev. Ernest Lilly of Converse. Dennis-Green funeral home had charge of arrangements. The pallbearers were Ralph Wright, E. M. Patrick, T. J. Stephens, Osmer McFellins, Paul Nabours and Adolph Vienne. Surviving Miss Nabours are her parents Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Nabours; one sister, Miss Louise Nabours; grandmother, Mrs. Maggie Parrott, and a number of other relatives throughout Sabine parish.
