The Rev. Francis LaPaque officiated. Burial was at Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles. He died at 6:44 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28, 1983, at St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, after a long illness. Mr. Nabours, the retired a? operator of Petro Chem Construction, was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Associated General Contractors, the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local No. 106, the American Welding Society, and Masonic Lodge Calcasieu No. 165, and the Hobbie Shrine Temple. He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Ruth Nabours of Sulphur; two sons, Kenneth Nabours of Sulphur, and John Nabours of Corvallis, La.; one daughter, Sharon Nabours Moret of Lafayette, La.; his mother, Jencie Nabours of Zwolle, La.; one brother, William Paul Nabours Jr. of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Mitchell, and Mrs. Elva Pecci of Shreveport, La.; three grandchildren.
