All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Jencie Campbell Nabours (Photo) Services for Mrs. Jencie Campbell Nabours, 94, were held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 21, at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel, with a second service at 3:30 p.m. that afternoon, at the First Baptist Church in Zwolle. Dr. David Rakes, assistant pastor of Broadmoor Baptist Church, officiated the services. Burial followed in the Zwolle Cemetery. Mrs. Nabours died Thursday, July 19, at her residence, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Fisher, and was a long time resident of Zwolle, before residing in Shreveport. Mrs. Nabours was a homemaker, and a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Nabours; and a son, James Willard Nabours. Survivors include one son, William Paul Nabours Jr. and wife Vienne of Lake Charles; twin daughters, Edna N. Mitchell, and Elva N. Pecar, both of Shreveport; one granddaughter, Nanette N. Martinez of Zwolle, who was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Nabours; one brother, William Pircie Campbell of Shreveport; one daughter-in-law, Johnnie Ruth Nabours of Sulphur; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons, Dr. Keith Nabours, Dr. Carl Nabours, Jim Nabours, John Nabours, Kenny Nabours, and Thomas Martinez. The family requests memorials be made to Schumpert Medical Center Hospice Program, or charity of donor's choice.
