Nash, 6 year old daughter of Joseph A. Nash of Provencal, who died Friday night, Jan. 20, from burns received earlier in an accident at her home, were held in Provencal, Sunday. The rites were held at 10 a.m. in Free Methodist Church, with the Rev. Wade Robinson officiating. Burial was in Provencal Cemetery, under the direction of the First National Funeral Home. The child died en route to a Shreveport hospital Friday night, after she was burned when she apparently fell into a fireplace at her home, and her clothing caught fire. Survivors besides the father, include four sisters, Mrs. Mae Mitchell of Bossier City, Mrs. Audrey Goins of Keithville, Mrs. Alice Corley of Anacoco, and Miss Margie Nash of Provencal; and four brothers, Gerald Nash of New Orleans, and James, John, and W. D. Nash of Provencal.
