All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Leatrice Nichols Mrs. Leatrice Nichols, 45, of Many, died in Shreveport on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 5 p.m. Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband, Woodrow Nichols of Many; one son, Mike Nichols; one daughter, Mrs. Jan Booker; her mother, Mrs. Jim Blackwell, all of Many; three brothers, Bert Blackwell, and Kenneth Blackwell, both of Lake Charles, and Floyd Blackwell of St. Louis, Missouri; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Edna Keith, Moreland, Kansas; Mrs. Marjorie Cook, Leesville; Mrs. Diane Polk, Little Rock, Ark.; Mrs. Joyce Walker, Shreveport; and one grandchild. Funeral services were held at the Calvary Baptist Church on Friday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Wayne Reeves officiated. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Buddy Dees, Hoyt Hughes, Charles Jackson, Jack Jordon, Benny Russell, and Charlie Wagley.
