Mrs. Nichols was born on March 23, 1912 in Mt. Carmel and passed away April 23 in Many. She was a lifelong resident of S abine Parish and spent 37 years of her life teaching in the public school system of Sabine Parish She is preceded in death by her parents, J. Wiley and Jennie Miller, and her husband, Kenneth C. Nichols. Survivors include her daughter Jennie Nichols Odgen and husband Malvin, of Many; three grandsons, Jeff Malley and wife Melanie of Colorado Spring, Co., Jason Malley of Many, and Jeremy Malley of Baton Rouge; four great-grandchildren, Sabrina Lance, Brittany and Trevor Malley, all of Colorado Springs, Colo.; numerous other family members, former students, and friends.
