The Sabine Index - L. B. Nichols

  31 Aug 1951 - Funeral rites for L. B. Nichols, 73, who passed
away at Fraser sanitarium Thursday of last week following a few
days illness, were conducted 10 a.m. Friday at Latter Day Saints
chapel by Elders Fred Wagley, M. F. Anderson and Carl M. Shanner,
Jr. Interment followed at Mt. Carmel cemetery under direction
Warren funeral home.

  Pallbearers were A. M. Wagley, J. M. Belisle, Raymond Muse,
Albert Miller, Jim Blackwell and A. W. Knippers.

  Surviving relatives include: the widow, Mrs. Anna
Nichols, Many; sons, Kenneth and Woodrow Nichols, Many, Elston
Nichols, Detroit, Mich.; daughters, Mrs. Roy Byles and Miss Beul
Nichols, both of Many; brothers, Sam Nichols, Hornbeck, and S. Q.
Nichols, Fisher; sisters, Mrs. Nora Lowery, Fisher, Mrs. Lilla
Bonnett, New Orleans, Mrs. Ida Mitchell, Hornbeck, eight
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
