N. L. (Nick) Nichols

  N. L. "Nick" Nichols, 67, of Pleasant Hill, died in Shreveport
on Friday, Dec. 23, at 10:23 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Hendrick of
Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Maggie Byles of Belmont, and Mrs. Martha Ann
Jackson of Kake, Alaska; 14 grandchildren, and four great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Spring Ridge Methodist Church
on Monday, Dec. 26, at 10 a.m. The Rev. J. P. King officiated.
Burial was in the Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of
the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
