Verna Ruth Nesom

  Mrs. Verna Ruth Nesom, 62, of Belmont, died in Pleasant Hill
Sunday, May 31, at 10 p.m., after a brief illness.

  Surviving relatives include her husband, R. T. Nesom of
Mansfield; two daughters, Lillian Lowe of Grandall, Tex., and
Mrs. Freddie Cobbs of Mansfield; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Bell
Craig of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. Cora Brian of Belmont, and five
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Union Baptist Church, Tuesday,
June 2, at 4 p.m., with the Rev. J. P. King, and the Rev. Johnny
Garrett officiating. Burial was in the Belmont Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Nesom's body was taken to the Union Baptist Church at 2:30
p.m., to lie in state until service time.
