Mildred Amanda Nugent

  Funeral services for Mildred Amanda Nugent were held on
Thursday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m., in the Hickory Grove Methodist
Church in Robeline, with Rev. Brian Jennings officiating. Burial
was in the church cemetery.

  Amanda was 6 years old, and of Hagewood, La. She died Monday,
Sept. 2, 1985, in the Sabine Medical Center. She was a native of
Shreveport, a student at Provencal Elem. School, and a member of
the Hickory Grove Methodist Church.

  Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Roy Nugent of
Hagewood; one sister, Samantha Elaine Nugent of Hagewood; four
brothers, Lee Roy Nugent III, of Hagewood, Perry Lee Nugent,
Adrian Daniel Nugent, and James Lee Nugent; paternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Powell of Hornbeck; maternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Huey Gooden of Hagewood; maternal
great grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Gray of Natchitoches; and maternal
great grandfather, Mr. Tomy Gooden of Hagewood.
