"Bill" Neugent, 76, of Robeline, were held Thursday, Dec. 5, 1996, in the Chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis, at 2 p.m. Officiating was Rev. Hyland D. Packard. Interment was at Lambertown Cemetery near Robeline, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Neugent died Tuesday, Dec. 3, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. He was a native of Jacksonville, Ala., a retired salesman for L. H. Johnson Wholesale Co. in Natchitoches, a member of the Anthony Southern Baptist Church in Robeline, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, and a member of the DAV in Many. Mr. Neugent was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Wayne Neugent; and one sister, Ida Belle Fletcher. He is survived by two sons, Ronald D. Neugent, and James E. Neugent, both of Robeline; two sisters, Vivian Jordan of Jasper, Texas, and Bertha Rea Sams of Hope, Ark.; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
