Nigreville, 72, died Thursday, April 1, in Alexandria, after a long illness. Services were held Friday, April 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Msgr. Robert C. Friend officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were Hubert Ebarb, J. J. Malmay, Monroe Ebarb, Lawrence Ebarb, James Ebarb, and Alvin Ebarb. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Nigreville of Pineville; three sons, James D., and Joseph T. of Pineville, and John W. Nigreville Jr. of Houston, Texas; six daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Adkinson, Mrs. William E. Boyce, and Mrs. Barbara Weeks of Pineville, Mrs. Robert Campbell of Orange, Tex., Mrs. Willie T. Britt of Ft. Walton, Fla., and Mrs. Ruth Farace of Alexandria; one sister, Mrs. S. H. Ebarb of West Monroe; 32 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
