The Rev. Frank Yount, pastor of Faith Assembly of God, officiated. Burial was in Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery, with graveside services at 12 noon. Mr. Niette, a native of Robeline, died Saturday, April 19, 1986, in Schumpert Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of Shreveport most of his life. He was a retired truck driver, with the City of Shreveport. He was survived by his wife, Lenita Niette of Shreveport; three sons, Dallas Niette, Jr., Jeffery Niette, both of Shreveport; and Kim Niette; three sisters, Claudia Davis, Pearl Morvan, both of Robeline, and Bessie Breedlove of Natchitoches; and three brothers, Jim Niette of Robeline, Jacob Niette of Houma, and Everette Niette of Bossier City. Pallbearers were Richard Slyles, Herman Nash, Lee Sellers, Steve McIntyre, Barry Smith, and Chris Hawthorne, Honorary pallbearers were Chuck Ashley, and Eddie Lazarus.
