Mrs. Texine Lucy Nette

  Texint Lucy Nette, 91, of Many, died Wednesday, April 18, 2001,
at Sabine Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 20, at St.
John Catholic Church, with interment following at St. John the
Baptist Cemetery. Father Ken Williams, and Father John Pardue
officiated.

  Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Nette Adams of Many,
Dorothy Nette Benoit of DeRidder, and Leona Nette-Ross of
Shreveport; one son, Phillip A. Nette of Alexandria; two sisters,
Josephine Young, and Willie Mae King, both of Many; 14
grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; five great-great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Mrs. Nette was preceded in death by her parents, George and
Carrie Moore; husband, Joseph Odis Nette; son, Robert J. Nette,
and daughter, Delores Nette-LaCaze.
