Anthony Cummila officiating. Burial followed in St. Anne's Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Bossier City. Mr. Niette, 81, of Bossier City, was a native of Spanish Lake Community. Born Nov. 14, 1911, he died Saturday, June 12, in Bossier Medical Center. He served in the Armed Forces, and was active in World War II. Survivors include three sons, Herman Niette of Wylie, Tex., Henry Niette of Benton, Arnold J. Niette of Columbus, Ga.; two sisters, Bessie Breedlove of Natchitoches, Claudia Davis of Shreveport; one brother, Jacob Niette of Houma; thirteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers were Rufus Davis Jr., Bill Alford, Buddy Mowan, Danny Mowan, Junior Niette, and Jimmy McIntyre. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and two brothers. He will be missed by his family.
