Gervas Baxter Nettles

  Mr. Gervas B. Nettles, 75, of Route 3, Many, died in the Sabine
Medical Center of Many, on April 30, 1985, at 10:28 p.m.

  He was born in Clinton, La. on Nov. 1, 1909, and had been a
resident of Sabine Parish for many years. He was a member of the
Aimwell Baptist Church.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel at 2 p.m., May 2, with Bro. Charles Duncan officiating.
Interment was in the Aimwell Cemetery.

  He is survived by his wife, Clara B. Nettles; one daughter,
Kathryn N. Miller; two grandchildren, Scott and Amy Miller, all
of Many; and one brother, Robert C. Nettles of Baton Rouge; and
one niece; and two nephews.

  Pallbearers were Edwin Nettles, Charles Meadows, Howard Balwin,
R. L. Macey, Randy Miller, and Edwin Palmer.
