Mike Henderson officiating, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home. Mr. Nettles passed away June 2, at Integrated Health Services in Many. He was born June 15, 1933, in Brookhaven, Miss. He worked at South Central Bell, as a service technician. He was a Korean U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his mother, Amy Smith Nettles. He is survived by his wife, Betty Nettles of Many; and father, Homer Nettles of Baton Rouge; sons, Reggie Sanders of Pensacola, Fla., Boyd Sanders of Many, Albert Nettles of Zwolle, Randy Sanders of Many, Jeremy Nettles of Many, and Lynn Garrett of Greenwood, Miss.; daughters, Joyce Simpson of Boise, Idaho, Wendy Procell of Converse, Amy Nettles of Plaquemine, and Niko Winfree of Many; brothers, Maurice, and Dwain Nettles of Baton Rouge; nineteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
