The Sabine Index - Herbert James Nation

  22 Aug 1974 - Herbert James Nation, 67 of Lafayette, died at
11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 in the Lafayette General Hospital
after a brief illness.

  Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 22 in the
First Baptist Church of Lafayette under the direction of the
Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette with the Rev. Perry R.
Sanders, pastor officiating.

  Interment will be in the Antioch Baptist Cemetery in Florien on
Thursday, August 22 at 3:30 p.m.

  Mr. Nation is survived by his wife, Bertha Wright Nation of
Lafayette; his mother, Mrs. Mary W. Nation of San Francisco,
Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. James D. Carr, of Santa Fe, N. M. and
Mrs. Will Aymond, of Lafayette; a brother, Oliver A. Nation of
San Francisco and five grandchildren.
