Dewey Neel

  Mr. Dewey Neel, 57, of Zwolle, died in a Shreveport Hospital,
Saturday, Aug. 26, at 8:47 p.m., after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 28, at 3 p.m., in the
Zwolle First Baptist Church, with the Rev. W. E. Spencer
officiating. Interment was in the Zwolle Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Neel of Zwolle; one
son, Lloyd D. Neel of Alexandria; one daughter, Mrs. Laverne
Vines of Zwolle; four brothers, Noble and Melton Neel, both of
Zwolle, Lester of Woodville, Tex., and Marvin of Port Arthur;
three sisters, Mrs. Alpha Cowart of Huntington, Tex., Mrs.
Eloise Ledford of Robeline, and Mrs. Zeda Dumas of Montgomery,
and three grandchildren.

  Mr. Neel's body was taken to the Zwolle First Baptist Church
Sunday night, at 8 p.m., to lie in state until service time
Monday.
