The Sabine Index - M. E. Neel

  13 Mar 1959 - Funeral services for M. E. Neel, age 80, who died
at the Fraser sanitarium March 4, were conducted at Antioch
Baptist church at 2 p.m., March 5 with Rev. Joe Hext officiating,
assisted by Rev. Henry Chance. Interment was in church cemetery
under the direction of Warren Funeral Home with Masonic rites at
graveside.

  Survivors are his sons, Homer of Florien, Clifton and Wesley of
Shreveport and Leamon of Beaumont; daughters, Mrs. Willie Dalton
of Shreveport; Mrs. Alex Savell of Florien; 21 grandchildren and
2 great-grandchildren.
