Vera Leona Neel 
  
  Vera Leona Neel, 95, of Many died Friday, March 17, 2000. 
  
  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19 at Siloam 
Baptist Church with interment following at Siloam Cemetery. The 
Rev. Wilton Anthony and the Rev. Homer Fundren officiated. 
  
  Survivors include two daughters, Juanita Jackson of Shreveport 
and Claudine Cryer of Many; two sons, Herman H. Neel of Many and 
Smith T. Neel of Nederland, Texas; a host of grandchildren, great 
grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 
She is also survived by a sisters-in-law, Suzie Callaway of 
Globe, Arizona and Olite Callaway of Groves, Texas. 
  
  The family wishes to thank all of the pallbearers for their 
services, 
  
  Mrs. Neel was a lifelong resident of Sabine Parish, as was her 
deceased husband, Hoyt Neel, who departed this life in 1980.
