All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Hoyt Neel Hoyt Neel, 77, of Many, died at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Many, Monday, June 23, at 9:30 a.m., after an extended illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Vera C. Neel of Many; two sons, Herman H. Neel of Port Arthur, Tex., and Smith T. Neel of Nederland, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Eddie Martin of Many, and Mrs. Keith Jackson of Blanchard; one brother, Herbert R. Neel of Sacramento, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Neel was a retired school bus driver for Negreet High School; a Mason for the Little Flock Lodge No. 236, a Royal Arch Mason, and a lifetime member of the Siloam Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 24, at 2 p.m., in the Siloam Baptist Church, with interment in the Siloam Cemetery. The Rev. Willis Greer, and the Rev. Earl Marr officiated at the services.
