  Funeral services for Ryan Wayne Neel, 23, of Belmont, were held
at the Union Baptist Church of Belmont, of Friday, June 8, at 3
p.m. The Rev. Truman Leach, the Rev. Ray Dyess, and the Rev.
Junior Mitchell officiated. Burial followed in the Belmont
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Neel died on Wednesday, June 6.

  Survivors include his father, Jerry Neel of Many; his mother,
Jean Agnew of Joaquin, Texas; a daughter, Hilary Neel of Zwolle;
two sisters, Shelli Dockens of Robeline, and Angela Free of
Pleasant Hill; his paternal grandparents, Julian and Lois Neel of
Many; his maternal grandparents, Crawford and Betty Mitchell of
Robeline; two nieces, Sierra Dockens of Robeline, and Alexis Free
of Pleasant Hill; a nephew, Trevor Dockens of Robeline; and a
host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

  Mr. Neel, who was born Feb. 25, 1978, in Natchitoches, worked in
the oilfield as a roughneck.
