Leeman M. Neel

  Funeral services for Mr. Leeman M. Neel were held Friday, Oct.
2, at 2 p.m., at the Gandy Baptist Church in Florien. Pallbearers
were Michael Davidson, Norman Jordan, Jim Garrard III, Terry
Davidson, Jody Key, and Larry Cornett.

  The Reverends Howard Arnold, and J. D. Brown officiated. Burial
was at Liberty Hill Cemetery in San Augustine, under direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Neel died Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Willis Knighton Medical
Center in Shreveport.

  Survivors are his wife, Hazel Bland Neel of Florien; one son,
Joe Key of Beaumont; two daughters, Kathryn Barcley of
Nacogdoches, and Doris Davidson of Madisonville; 11
grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
