Interment was at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Rev. Vernon Stephenson, Msgr. Norman Buvens, and Rev. C. M. Avery officiated. Mrs. Neal was born in Sabine Parish on June 18, 1921, to Nancy Pilcher and Earnest Dew. Mrs. Neal was a retired nurse. Survivors are her widower, Mr. Hugh Childress Neal; one daughter and son-in-law, Frances Neal and Jackie Savell of Many; one son and daughter-in-law, Stanley H. and Sandra Neal of Pleasant Hill; one sister, Quilma D. Raborn of Jonesboro; one brother and sister-in-law, Ernest Q. and Ann F. Dew of Many; three grandchildren, Janice S. Wagoner and husband Steven W. Wagoner, Jennifer S. Montalbano and husband Michael Montalbano, and Lee Stanley Neal; three great grandchildren, Tanya W. Logen and husband William Logen, Steven T. Wagoner, and Ashley Nicole Montalbano; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by one infant son.
