All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Nalbro "Pop" Neal Funeral services for Mr. Nalbro "Pop" Neal, 83, of Pelican, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 23, 1996, in the Mansfield Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. The Rev. Troy Terrell, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church of Turkey Creek officiated, with the Rev. Mack Black, pastor of Pelican Baptist Church, assisting. Burial followed in Pelican Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Mr. Neal died Tuesday, Feb. 20, in Pleasant Hill. He was a retired welder. Survivors include his wife, Masie Neal of Pelican; two sons, Carey Neal (wife Sue) of Henderson, Texas, and Jerry Neal (wife Carol) of Grand Cane; daughter, Jelyon Neal Terrell (husband Troy) of Converse; and one sister, Margaret Neal of Dallas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Wade Neal, Sheree Chad Neal, DeVaughn Terrell, DeNise Terrell Singletary, Troy Neal Terrell (wife Cash), Melissa Neal Pickett (husband Michael), and Jason Neal; and eleven great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jason Neal, Michael Pickett, Troy H. Terrell, Larry Wayne Schion, Melissa Y. Pickett, and Kenneth W. Clevenger.
