Mr. Hugh C. Neal

  Funeral services for Mr. Hugh C. Neal, 84, of Many, were held at
2 p.m., Sunday, March 16, 1997, at Warren Meadows Chapel.

  The Revs. Vernon Stephenson, and Jerry Ford officiated. Burial
was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

  Mr. Neal died Friday, March 14, 1997, at Willis Knighton North,
Shreveport.

  He is survived by one daughter, Frances Savell (husband Jack) of
Many; one son, Huey Stanley (wife Sandra) of Pleasant Hill; two
sisters, Eula Ponder, and Muriel Jaber of Many; a special friend,
Allie Birdwell and family of Marthaville; three grandchildren;
three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and
cousins.

  Mr. Neal is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Freddie
Neal; and infant son.
