Rev. W. V. Niell

  The Rev. W. V. Niell, 79, died Friday, Jan. 28, at 5:45 a.m., in
Shreveport, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 30, at 3 p.m., in the
Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Dr. Cecil Knippers
officiating, assisted by the Rev. H. L. Kendrix, and the Rev. T.
T. McCord. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Niell of Many; one daughter,
Wilma Gustaferri of Buffalo, N. Y.; one half brother, Gene Niell
of Albuquerque, N. M.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Kaufman of
Pittsburg, Texas, Mrs. Josie Boyd, and Mrs. H. B. Ramsey, both of
Grover City, Calif., and Mrs. Ruth Spragher of Tacoma, Wash.; one
step sister, Mrs. Annie Miller of Mena; one step brother, J. H.
Bruce of Aberanth, Texas; four stepchildren, Bertie Watson, Paul
C. Watson, Mrs. Ira Hayes, and Mertie Johnson, all of California;
five grandchildren; 17 step grandchildren; and 32 step great
grandchildren.
