Merton Estes Neel (Photo)

  Merton Estes Neel of Zwolle died Friday, April 25, at Shreveport
Life Care. He was 84.

  Mr. Neel was born on Sept. 28, 1918, in Negreet.

  Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 27, at 2 p.m., at
the First Baptist Church of Zwolle. The Rev. Jerry Penfield, and
Dr. Vernon Stephenson officiated. Burial followed in the Zwolle
City Cemetery.

  He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth Neel of Zwolle; one
daughter, Lisa Sepulvado and husband David of Zwolle; two
sisters, Eloise Ledford of Zwolle, and Zeddie Dumas of Ruston;
one brother, Lester Neel of Colmesneil, Texas; two grandchildren,
D. J. Sepulvado and wife Annette, and Brady Sepulvado, both of
Zwolle; one great grandchild, McCall Sepulvado of Zwolle; and a
host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  He was preceded in death by his parents.
