Mrs. Elma Nelson

  Mrs. Elma Nelson, 58, of Florien, died in Many, at 7:40 on Tuesday,
Jan. 25, after an extended illness.

  Services were held in the Calvary Baptist Church on Thursday, Jan.
27, at 2 p.m., with the Reverends Wayne Reeves, and Vessie Prewitt
officiating.

  Survivors include her husband, Christopher Nelson of Florien; two
sons, Lovis Nelson of Houston, and Charles G. Nelson of Many; two
sisters, Mrs. Audrey Torres of Zwolle, and Mrs. Irene Armstrong of
Fullerton, Calif., and three grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Willie Dewil, Arthur Byrd, Wilmer Prewitt, Earl
Mullins, Hoyt Hughes, and Alvin Warmack.
