Mrs. Susie Nelson

  Mrs. Susie Jordan Nelson, 72, of Shamrock, died Saturday, March
16, in the Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

  Funeral services were held Monday, at 4 p.m., in the Shamrock
Advent Christian Church, with the Rev. Wilmer Birdwell
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the
direction of the St. Denise Funeral Home of Natchitoches.

  Survivors include four sons, Ezra Nelson, Clyde Nelson, and Jack
Nelson, all of Robeline, and Raymond Nelson of Shreveport; six
daughters, Mrs. Pat Freeman, Mrs. Dennis Jenkins, Mrs. J. A.
Gibson Jr., all of Robeline, Mrs. Kelley Adams of Wetumka, Ala.,
Mrs Doyle Carter of Goldonna, and Mrs. Robert Carver of
Leesville; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Grice of Robeline; two brothers,
T. L. Jordan of Robeline, and J. J. Jordan of Winnfield; 24
grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
