Christopher A. Nelson

  Mr. Christopher A. Nelson, 66, of Florien, died in Many, on
Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 4:20 p.m., following an extended illness.

  He is survived by two sons, Christopher Louis Nelson of Houston,
Tex.; and Charles Nelson of Florien; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha
Speight, and Mrs. Nettie Brown, both of Many, and Miss Emma
Nelson of Florien; two brothers, Jim Nelson, and Willie Nelson,
both of Florien; and four grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church
on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. M. A. McNeely,
and the Rev. Johnny Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the
Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
