  Mrs. Georgia Brown Nelson - July 7, 1988

  Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Brown Nelson, 73, of Many,
were held July 6, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church
with interment following in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Rev. Roy
Dowden and Rev. Howard Arnold officiated.

  Mrs. Nelson passed away July 4 at the Heritage Manor II Nursing
Home in Many.

  She is survived by her husband, J. W. Nelson of Many, one son,
Larry Nelson of Pitken, two daughters, Madeline Fitzgerald of
Stonewall, Marjorie Savell of Florien, one brother, Furman Brown
of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Two sisters, Toxie Berryman of Hemphill,
Tex., Janie Meredith of Lompoc, CA. Eight grandchildren, thirteen
great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.
