Rev. Willie Nolen

  Funeral services for the Rev. Willie Nolen, 67, of Hornbeck, who
expired in an Alexandria hospital on Wednesday, Nov. 20, were
conducted Friday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m., from the Lone Star Baptist
Church in Hineston, with the Rev. Huey Bonds, and the Rev. S. P.
Bonds officiating.

  Interment was in the Lone Star cemetery, under the direction of
Hixson Funeral Home.

  The Rev. Nolen is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Chance Nolen
of Hineston; two sons, Shedrick and Billy, both of Hineston; one
daughter, Mrs. Trixie Teal of Hineston; two brothers, John of
Leesville, and Nash of Saratoga, Wyoming; three sisters, Mrs.
Mary Lea Goss of Pineville, Mrs. Lucy Bolton of Houston, and Mrs.
Jane Keith of St. Joseph Missouri; and seven grandchildren.
