Kattie Nelms

  Funeral services for Kattie Scarbrough Nelms, 79, of Leesville,
were held Tuesday, Oct. 17, 1995, at Full Gospel Church in
Hornbeck, with the Revs. Bud McCullough, and Thadius Cobrin
officiating. Mrs. Nelms died Monday, Oct. 15, 1995, at the Byrd
Regional Hospital in Leesville, and was buried at Prewitts Chapel
Cemetery in Hornbeck, under the direction of Beauregard-Vernon
Funeral Home.

  She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Kary D. Nelms; son,
Tyrone of Leesville; daughters, Kathleen N. Langton of Anacoco,
Julin Jones of Leesville, Ima Jean Smoot of Leesville, and
Darnell Powell of Slagle; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great
grandchildren.
