Mrs. May Jones Nelms

  Mrs. May Jones Nelms, 72, of Many, died April 30, in Many, after
an extended illness.

  Funeral services were conducted at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church,
with the Rev. Willis Greer officiating. Interment was in the Mt.
Zion Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home
of Many. Services were held May 1.

  Survivors include her husband, Jessie Nelms of Many; one sister,
Mrs. Susie Jones of Shreveport; and a number of nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers were T. M. Phillips, Pat Wright, Alfice Brumley,
Arthur Fluitt, Bobby Graham, and W. A. Meadows.
