Mrs. Maggie Neyland

  Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Neyland, 79, of Shreveport, were
held Monday at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Wellman's Funeral Home.

  The Rev. Frank Ledbetter officiated, with assistance from the Rev.
W. B. Martin, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. Burial was in Forest
Park Cemetery.

  Mrs. Neyland died Wednesday, in a Portland, Ore. hospital, following
a short illness.

  She was a native of Garrison, Tex., and had lived in Shreveport 32
years. She was a retired employee at Doctors Hospital, after 26 years
service, and was a member of Linwood Baptist Church.

  Survivors include a son of Zwolle, John H. Strong.
