Mrs. Donna Norris

  Mrs. Donna Norris, 56, of Anacoco, died Saturday, Nov. 7, in
Alexandria.

  Mrs. Norris was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. She had
retired from Fort Polk, after 26 years as a Budget Analyst. She
was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Simpson.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, at
Beauregard-Vernon chapel in Leesville, with interment following
at Florien Cemetery. The Rev. Lorraine Smith, and the Rev. Don
Hager officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, Alton "Buddy" Norris of Anacoco;
one daughter, Tamela J. Edwards of Simpson; one stepson, William
Norris Sr. of Lufkin, Texas; two stepdaughters, Alice O'Banion,
and Mamie Zerr of Leesville; mother, Josephine McClanahan of
Leesville; three grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; and
three step great grandchildren. Mrs. Norris was preceded in death
by one son, Terry Hickman.
