The Sabine Index - Etta Jane Norsworthy 
  
  29 Jan 1960 - Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Jane Norsworthy age 
64 who died Jan. 20 were conducted at Middle Creek Baptist church 
at 2 p.m. Jan. 21 with Rev. Earl Marr officiating, assisted by 
Rev. E. B. Appling of Haynesville. Interment was in church 
cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral home. 
  
  Pallbearers were Charles Wright, Belton Wright, Otha Canady, J. 
E. Rhodes, Jr., Bob Robinson and David Young. 
  
  Survivors are husband J. F. Norsworthy; sons William Edward of 
Nederland; daughters, Mrs. Edna Canady, and Mrs. Ruby Lee Wright 
both of Maplewood; brothers, Joe Webb of Haynesville and 
Natchitoches; Monroe of Church Point, Edward, Carroll and Billy 
Dean, all of Houston; sisters, Mrs. S. Rhodes and Mrs. George 
Rhodes, both of Natchitoches, Mrs. Bill Baier of Jennings, Mrs. 
Charles Royal and Mrs. Troy Gray both of Houston, eight 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
