Leon Dempsey Norsworthy

  Funeral services were held Sunday, May 31, at 2 p.m., for Leon
Dempsey Norsworthy, 54, of Many, who died in the V. A. Hospital
in Shreveport, after an extended illness. Services were held in
the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth
Leach, and the Rev. Jimmy Moore officiating. Burial was in the
Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Beverly Norsworthy of
Many; two sons, Gary Norsworthy of Many, and Keith Norsworthy of
Shreveport; one daughter, Belinda Nichols of Lake Charles; three
sisters, Sybil Robinson, and Dorothy Legget, both of Many, and
Audrey Barr of Vernon; father, Walter Norsworthy of Florien, and
one grandchild.
