Helen Ford Norwood

  Funeral services for Helen Ford Norwood, 81, of Mansfield, were
held at 2:30 p.m., November 23, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in
Mansfield.

  Bro. Garthel Burr, and Bro. Francis Smith officiated. Interment
was in Benson Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral
Home.

  Mrs. Norwood passed away on November 22, 1994, at DeSoto General
Hospital in Mansfield, after a lengthy illness.

  Mrs. Norwood was born in Benson, and was a lifelong resident of
Mansfield. She owned and operated Norwood's General Store, until
she retired.

  Survivors include her widower, Bryan Norwood of Benson; one son,
Bryan Norwood Jr. and wife Frances of Duncanville, Tex.; one
sister, Louise P. Ford of Wolfforth, Tex.; one brother, Harold
Ford of Mansfield; two grandsons, Allen Norwood, and Aaron
Norwood; and several nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Ronnie Norwood, Richard Norwood, Don Norwood,
Donnie Barber, Herman Barber, and Louis Rascoe.

  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer
Society, or to the charity of your choice.
