After the mill cut out he went to Springhill. At this place he served as mayor for a number of years. The last public position was the head of the Louisiana Training Institute at Monroe. The past few years, while in feeble health, he made his home at Many. Dr. Dillon was a successful physician. He was public-spirited, an untiring worker.
