O'Bannon Ruffin Wilson O'Bannon, 57, of Provencal died in Houston, Saturday, Sept. 1. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Provencal Baptist Church with the Rev. BO'Bby Stanley officiating, assisted by the Rev. Billy Burkett. Burial will be in the Provencal Cemetery under the direction of the St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Mr. O'Bannon was a lumberman. Survivors include his widow; two sons Wilson E. O'Bannon of Fisher and Eddie W. O'Bannon of Pinville; four daughters, Mrs. BO'Bby Broadway, Mrs. Larry Davis and Dianne O'Bannon, all of Provencal and Mrs. Russell Pitts of Tioga; four sisters, Mrs. Velma Howell and Mrs. Ella Rhodes, both of Provencal, Mrs. Cora Wyka of Splendora, Tex., and Mrs. Dorothy Haley of Pasadena, Tex.; four brothers, Gordon O'Bannon of Provencal, Minor O'Bannon of Bellwood, Willie O'Bannon of Shreveport and Lynn O'Bannon of Lake Charles; and 13 grandchildren.
