The Sabine Index - Jack M. Overstreet 
  
  23 Jul 1948 - Funeral services for Jack M. Overstreet, age 27, 
were conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday from the Church of Jesus Christ 
of Latter Saints chapel in Many by Elder Donald K. Nelson. 
Interment was in Mt. Carmel cemetery under direction Massingill 
funeral home with the VFW in charge of military rites at the 
grave. 
  
  Surviving relatives include: wife, Mrs. Patsy Overstreet, 
daughter, Serry Lynn, both of Many; father, Samuel J. Overstreet, 
Port Arthur, Texas, brothers, V. H. of Arizona and E. B. of 
Galveston, Texas; sisters, Mrs. R. E. Hern, Port Arthur, Texas, 
Mrs. M R. Smith, Magnolia Springs, Texas, Mrs. R. D. Seaten, 
Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Richard Register, Richmond, Calif., Miss 
Helen Overstreet, Houston, Texas.
